Julia Spetsmark (born June 30, 1989 ) is a Swedish soccer player .
Career
society
At the beginning of her career, Spetsmark played for the lower-class clubs Mallbackens IF , QBIK Karlstad and Norrstrands IF. In 2011 and 2012 she was active for QBIK Karlstad in the then second-class Division 1 and only missed promotion to Damallsvenskan in 2012 in the promotion relegation. Spetsmark then moved to the first division promoted Sunnanå SK , with whom they ended the 2013 season beaten as bottom of the table. From 2014 to 2017 she was active for the first division club KIF Örebro , with whom she became runner-up behind FC Rosengård in 2014 and thus qualified for the 2015/16 Champions League . In the round of 16, Örebro was eliminated there due to the away goals rule after two draws against the French representative Paris Saint-Germain . At the beginning of 2018, Spetsmark moved abroad for the first time and played briefly for Manchester City in the FA Women's Super League . After only three league games, she returned to Sweden and played for the first division club Djurgården Damfotboll until the end of 2018 . For the 2019 season, Spetsmark moved to the United States to join the North Carolina Courage franchise .
National team
Spetsmark was part of the Swedish squad in October 2005 in a U-16 international match against the German selection. For the Swedish U-23 national team, she completed three more U-internationals in 2012, in which she remained goalless. On October 21, 2016, Spetsmark made his debut in a friendly against Iran in the Swedish national team . With this she took part in the European Championship 2017 in the following year , in which Sweden was eliminated in the quarter-finals against the hosts and later European champions Netherlands .
