Kristina Bille Hansen (born April 3, 1986 in Hvalpsund ) is a Danish handball player .

Career

Bille started playing handball in her birthplace near Hvalpsund IF. Later the then youth player Viborg HK joined. From 2004 the outside player was a member of the women's squad, with which she won the Danish championship and the EHF Champions League in 2006. To get more playing time, she signed a contract with Aalborg DH in 2007 . For the 2011/12 season, Bille moved to the Slovenian first division club RK Krim . In March 2012, she left Crimea early and the following summer accepted an offer from the Norwegian club Larvik HK . With Larvik she won the championship in 2013 and was in the final of the Champions League. Due to her pregnancy, she paused the entire 2013/14 season. She then joined the Danish first division club Skive fH . In January 2015 she joined the second division club Vendsyssel Håndbold . In the summer of 2016, she moved to the second division EH Aalborg. Since the Christmas break 2017/18 she has been on a pregnancy-related break. After the 2017/18 season she left EH Aalborg.

Bille has been a member of the Danish national team since 2005 , for which she scored 155 goals in 100 international matches. Her first two tournaments with Denmark were the 2005 World Cup and the 2006 European Championship . In the following years Denmark either failed to qualify for the final tournaments or Bille had not made the jump into the squad. At the 2011 World Cup she was nominated for the injured Maibritt Kviesgaard during the tournament . With Denmark she finished fourth. Her next tournament participation was the 2012 European Championship .
