Kruszyn is a village and Schulzenamt ( Polish sołectwo) of the rural municipality Włocławek in the powiat Włocławski of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . The seat of the rural community is the city of Włocławek ( German Leslau ), which belongs to neither the powiat nor the community.

Kruszyn is located in the south of the city of Włocławek. The village borders in the north on Nowa Wieś and the city of Włocławek, in the northeast and east on Pińczata, Warząchewka Polska and Warząchewka Królewska, in the southeast on Dębice, in the south on Kruszynek and in the west on Kolonia Dębice.
history
The region came to Prussia in 1793 with the Second Partition of Poland and to the Duchy of Warsaw after the Peace of Tilsit in 1807 . After the Congress of Vienna in 1815 it became part of the newly formed, to Russia associated Congress Poland . - After the German invasion of Poland , Kruszyn was given the official name Kruschyn in 1939 , which was changed to Kruschin in 1943 .

The former DW317 voivodship road connects Kruszyn and the neighboring towns to the city of Włocławek.
In the north of the Kruszyn area, near the village of Nowa Wieś, there is the Włocławek-Kruszyn airfield ( ICAO code : EPWK) operated by the Włocławski Aeroklub . The course has two grass slopes of 1000 and 600 meters in length. There are plans to use this for general aviation (GA) as well.
