For the next season she appeared in Hochfilzen in an individual, in which she was 68th, for the first time in the biathlon World Cup . The highlight of the season was Sikunkowas participation in the European Championships in Haute-Maurienne , where she was fifth with the season. The following season started less well in the individual races, so Sikunkowa was lapped in Östersund in the pursuit, but she was able to take a good fourth place with the relay. After she took part in the world championships in summer biathlon in Forni Avoltri and achieved a tenth place in the mass start as the best place, she was able to run another very good season in 2003/04 . Sikunkowa was able to collect World Cup points in five races and was 48th overall after the season. In Hochfilzen she achieved her only World Cup victory in the Belarusian relay with Jekaterina Iwanowa , Wolha Nasarawa and Alena Subrylawa . The 2004 World Championships also brought an acceptable result with a 24th place in the individual and a 27th place in the sprint and an outstanding result with the fourth place in the relay. At the European Championships in Minsk she was seventh in the individual shortly thereafter.

In 2005 Ksenija Sikunkowa was able to win the world championship title with the Belarusian relay team at the Summer Biathlon World Championships in Muonio . In addition to this outstanding success, she finished twelfth in the sprint and ten in the pursuit.
