Culture Prize of the City of Erlangen
The City of Erlangen's Culture Prize is awarded "in recognition of outstanding cultural achievements".
history
From 1962 to 1991, the City of Erlangen's Culture Prize and the Culture Prize were awarded at irregular intervals, the Culture Prize until 1996. In July 2006, the city council decided to reassign the culture prize. This time regularly every two years. The prize is endowed with 10,000 euros.
