Kunagrünberg is located between Gröbming (main town) and Aich (main town) , north of Pruggern (main town) . It is located at Kulm , the mountain ridge at the southern foot of Kemet mountains , left the valley, on the 850- 900  m above sea level. A. Height.

The location includes a small hamlet with two farms belonging to the municipality of Aich , and a few scattered houses to the east below that belong to Pruggern (addresses Kunagrünbergstrasse ).

History and personalities

The place name Kunagrün is a corruption from Gundackaringen . The location itself is documented as early as 1147 as "apud ... villam Gundacheringen" ("above Kunagrün"). The names whether Kunagrün or on Kunagrünberg have been preserved in recent times. These are the two Hubs Berger (No. 7) and Klemmer (No. 8). A component dating from 1696 can be found for the latter courtyard.
