Kurt Anclam

Kurt Anclam (born May 7, 1918 in Kowanz , Kolberg-Körlin district ) is a former German functionary of the GDR block party LDPD . He was a member of the State Council of the GDR .

Life

Anclam, the son of a tailor , learned the trade of a baker from 1932 to 1935 after attending elementary school in Kowanz and then worked in this trade. He did military service in World War II . He was taken prisoner of war , from which he returned to Germany in 1947.

In the same year he passed the master baker's examination and worked as a master baker from 1947 to 1951. In 1948 he became a member of the LDPD, chairman of the local group and worked from 1948 to 1950 as a community representative in Krembz ( Gadebusch district ). Anclam was from 1949 to 1954 a member of the LDPD district committee Schwerin-Land , from 1951 to 1957 he also acted as deputy chairman of the LDPD district association Schwerin . From 1950 to 1954 he was a member of the Schwerin-Land district council, and from 1952 to 1954 he was also a member and deputy chairman of the Schwerin-Land district council and the district councilor for trade and supply. During this period he was also a member of the Schwerin District Assembly . He joined the FDGB in 1952 . Between 1953 and 1959 he completed a distance learning course at the German Academy for Political Science and Law "Walter Ulbricht" , where he graduated as a lawyer .

From 1957 to 1990 he was a member of the central board of the LDPD. From 1954 to 1957 he was an instructor and department head at the central board of the LDPD. From 1957 to 1966 he was a personal assistant to the deputy chairman of the GDR Council of Ministers, Hans Loch and Max Suhrbier . From 1967 to 1984 he was a member of the political committee of the central executive committee of the LDPD.

From 1966 to 1984 Anclam acted as chairman of the LDPD district association Halle , from 1966 he was a member of the Halle district committee of the National Front and from 1967 to 1971 also a member of the Halle district assembly.

From 1954 to 1963 and again from 1967 to 1986 Anclam was a member of the People's Chamber . From 1971 to 1986 he was also a member of the State Council.
