Kurt Boysen

Kurt Boysen (born March 29, 1933 in Havetoftloit ; † November 19, 2014 in Strande ) was a German lawyer and politician.

Life

Boysen studied law and in 1968 from the Law Faculty of Kiel Christian Albrechts University Dr. jur. PhD. From February 1, 1974 to April 30, 1985, he was State Secretary in the cabinet of Gerhard Stoltenberg and Uwe Barschel in the Schleswig-Holstein Ministry of Culture. From 1985 to 1987 he held a teaching position at the Faculty of Law at Kiel University. From December 16, 1987 to May 30, 1988, he was head of the State Chancellery of Schleswig-Holstein under the Executive Minister-President Henning Schwarz .

In 1988 he became a full member of the board and managing partner of the auditing company BDO Deutsche Warentreuhand in Hamburg. In 1998 he moved to the company's supervisory board, to which he was a member until 1999.
