Henning Schwarz
Henning Michael Schwarz (born October 5, 1928 at Gut Frauenholz near Bad Oldesloe , † April 13, 1993 in Kiel ) was a German politician ( CDU ).
He was Minister of Justice from 1969 to 1979 and 1983 to 1985, Minister for Federal Affairs from 1979 to 1988 and Executive Minister-President of Schleswig-Holstein from 1987 to 1988 .
education and profession
After participating in the Second World War, Schwarz passed his Abitur in 1949 and began studying law in Würzburg and Hamburg , which he completed in 1953 with the first state examination and in 1957 with the second state examination . In 1958 the doctorate to Dr. jur. Since then he has worked as a lawyer and since 1959 also as a notary .
Private
Henning Schwarz was married and had three children, including the Minister of the Interior of Schleswig-Holstein Sabine Sütterlin-Waack . He was the son of the politician Werner Schwarz , who was Federal Minister for Food, Agriculture and Forestry from 1959 to 1965 .
Henning Schwarz died on April 13, 1993 of leukemia.

Schwarz was a member of the CDU since 1948.
MP
Henning Schwarz was a member of the Landtag of Schleswig-Holstein from 1971 to 1975 and from 1979 to 1987 .
Public offices
On November 3, 1969, he was appointed Minister of Justice to Helmut Lemke's cabinet . He kept this office after Gerhard Stoltenberg became Prime Minister on May 24, 1971 . In 1975 he was also appointed Deputy Prime Minister. On May 29, 1979, he moved from the office of Justice Minister to the Office of Minister for Federal Affairs.
Even when Uwe Barschel was elected Prime Minister on October 14, 1982, he remained in his cabinet as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Federal Affairs. From April 13, 1983 to December 16, 1985 he also took over the office of Minister of Justice. Due to his statement, which deviated from the facts, that "Krause is not considered as a perpetrator", a case against the former SS officer Waldemar Krause was discontinued.
After Uwe Barschel resigned on October 2, 1987 as a result of the state elections in 1987 , mainly because of the Barschel affair , Schwarz took over the affairs of the Prime Minister of Schleswig-Holstein on a provisional basis and, due to the stalemate in parliament, managed until the election of Björn Engholm on October 31 , 1987 May 1988 a managing state government.
