Dirk Schrödter

Dirk Schrödter (born October 18, 1978 in Luckenwalde ) is a German ministerial official and politician ( CDU ). Since June 28, 2017 he has been head of the State Chancellery of Schleswig-Holstein under Prime Minister Daniel Günther (CDU).

Education and professional career

After graduating from high school in 1998 and one year of basic military service, Schrödter studied economics from 1999 and completed his studies in 2004 with a degree in economics. He then worked as an official in the ministerial administration.

Most recently, from 2010 to 2017 he was head of the general department for the state budget in the Ministry of Finance of the State of Schleswig-Holstein , responsible for budget preparation, long- and medium-term financial planning, federal-state financial relations and municipal financial equalization. Since 2015, Schrödter has also been teaching part-time as a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences for Administration and Services of the State of Schleswig-Holstein for the subjects of economics as well as finance and taxes.

Dirk Schrödter (CDU) has been State Secretary under Prime Minister Daniel Günther (CDU) in the cabinet of the same name since June 28, 2017 and has been appointed head of the State Chancellery (CdS) of the State of Schleswig-Holstein as a political official .
