Florian Stegmann

Florian Stegmann (born January 1, 1971 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German administrative lawyer and has been State Secretary and Head of the State Chancellery in the State Ministry of Baden-Württemberg since September 2018 .

Life

Florian Stegmann studied law at the University of Konstanz and, after completing his doctorate, worked as a lawyer in an international law firm. He then worked as a public prosecutor for environmental criminal law, research assistant at the Federal Constitutional Court in Karlsruhe , judge at the Stuttgart regional court and public prosecutor in the field of anti-corruption. Since 2013 he has been head of the finance, budget and tax policy department in the State Ministry of Baden-Württemberg . Since September 2018 he has succeeded Klaus-Peter Murawski as State Secretary and Head of the State Chancellery in the State Ministry.

Florian Stegmann is married and has two daughters.
