Gisela Splett (born January 20, 1967 in Sindelfingen ) was a member of the state parliament ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ) in the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg from 2006 to 2016 . From 2011 to May 2016 she was State Secretary in the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure. When the Kretschmann II cabinet took office in May 2016, she moved to the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Finance as State Secretary .

Life

Splett studied geoecology at the University of Bayreuth from 1986 to 1991 . Gisela Splett then worked for the Norwegian Forest Research Institute. Gisela Splett has lived in Karlsruhe since 1992 . Political career

Gisela Splett joined the Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen party in 1997. In 1999 she was a member of the Karlsruhe District Executive. From 2003 to spring 2006 she was parliamentary group leader of the green parliamentary group in Karlsruhe. In the 2011 election campaign, she was part of the top team around Winfried Kretschmann. On May 12, 2011, she was sworn in as State Secretary in the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure with voting rights in the Kretschmann I cabinet. There she was responsible for the areas of noise and pollution control and the environmental impact of traffic. In this function, she was also the noise protection officer of the green-red state government. In the election to the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg in 2016, she no longer stood as a candidate. Her successor in the state parliament for the Karlsruhe I constituency is Bettina Lisbach . On May 12, 2016, she was sworn in as State Secretary in the Ministry of Finance .
