Kurt von Haugwitz
Kurt Ulrich Heinrich Graf von Haugwitz (- Hardenberg-Reventlow ; since 1885/6 ), Baron von Klein-Obisch , (born February 24, 1816 in Breslau , province of Silesia ; † September 12, 1888 in Schedlau , district of Falkenberg OS ) was a German landowner, administrative officer and parliamentarian.
Life
Kurt von Haugwitz was born as the son of the chamberlain , district administrator and majorate owner Paul von Haugwitz . He attended grammar school in Erlangen , the Brandenburg Knight Academy and the grammar school in Glogau . After high school he studied at universities of Bonn and Berlin law . In 1837 he became a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn . From 1840 to 1843 he served as a lieutenant in the regiment of the Gardes du Corps . As a landowner he was dike captainand from 1873 to 1877 district administrator of the Opole district . From 1854 to 1888 von Haugwitz was a member of the Prussian manor house . He was married to Lucy geb. Princess of Schönaich-Carolath (1822–1903).
