The Lämpermahdspitze is a 2,595 meter high mountain in the Stubai Alps . Due to its not very independent location on the Serleskamm between the two higher mountains Serles and Kesselspitze , it is usually crossed on multi-day hut tours, which mainly aim at the neighboring mountains .
Routes to the summit
Support points for the ascent are the Berggasthof Wildeben in the north and the Blaserhütte and the Padasterjochhaus in the south. As part of a day tour, the Lämpermahdspitze can also be climbed from Kampl in the Stubaital or from Maria Waldrast (both north-facing) or from Trins in Gschnitztal (south-facing). While the ascent from the south only requires a certain degree of surefootedness and a head for heights, the ascent from Serlesjöchl to the north is more exposed and requires absolute surefootedness in terrain at risk of falling (persistent UIAA I or T5 ). Except for the key point , a chimney-like narrowing on the north ascent (I +), no passages on the ascent paths are iron insured. Climbing tracks lead from the Mauernjoch in the southwest over the southwest ridge to the summit. From the Kalbenjoch to the south, the Lämpermahdspitze can be reached without a path over scree .
