Leonardo Pinheiro da Conceição , called Léo Pelé , (born March 6, 1996 in Rio de Janeiro ), is a Brazilian football player . The left foot runs mainly as a left defender.

Career

Léo Pelé began his career at Fluminense Rio de Janeiro . In 2013 he was there a few times in the first team, but has not yet played. In the 2015 season he played eight first-team games. Two in the Copa do Brasil and six in Serie A . In all games he ran from the start. Léo Pelé played his first professional game on September 13, 2015 against Sport Recife in the 2015 national championship . On February 17, 2016, he extended his contract with the club until the end of 2019.

At the beginning of May 2016, Léo Pelé was loaned to the Londrina EC for the Série B 2016 . After Léo Pelé regularly appeared for FLU in the 2017 season, he was loaned out again for the 2018 season. His next stop was the EC Bahia . For the 2019 season, FLU sold the player to São Paulo FC . The contract ran until December 2022. Léo Pelé played his first game for São Paulo in the São Paulo state championship on February 3, 2019 at home against EC São Bento . He played a total of nine games in the competition. In the Copa do Brasil 2019 , he played over 90 minutes in the first leg of the first leg on May 22nd against EC Bahia. In Série A, Léo Pelé was on the field for the first time on August 21, the 13th matchday of the season . This was followed by four more games, a total of three in the starting line-up and two from the bench.
