Igor Silveira Gomes (born March 17, 1999 in São José do Rio Preto ) is a Brazilian soccer player who is currently under contract with the first division club São Paulo FC . The attacking midfielder was a Brazilian U20 international until February 2019 .

Career

Born in São José do Rio Preto , Igor Gomes began playing football in the youth of the local América FC and then joined the youth department of São Paulo FC through Tanabi FC at the age of 14 . There he impressed in various junior teams before he signed a 4-1 / 2-year contract in September 2018 and was promoted to the first team together with Helinho and Antony .
