L'Hermitière is a town and commune Déléguée in the French commune of Val-au-Perche with 213 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Orne in the region of Normandy .
With effect from January 1, 2016, the previous municipalities of Gémages , L'Hermitière , Mâle , La Rouge , Saint-Agnan-sur-Erre and Le Theil were merged to form a Commune nouvelle with the name Val-au-Perche and dispose of the new one Commune on the status of a Commune déléguée. The administrative headquarters are located in Le Theil.
