The Peter Rothwell to Nordlicht were passenger train - steam locomotives of the Leipzig-Dresden Railway (LDE).

history

The six locomotives were supplied to the LDE from Rothwell, England between 1838 and 1840 . They were given the names PETER ROTHWELL , SALAMANDER , MAGDEBURG , SIMSON , ALTENBURG and NORDLICHT .

The locomotives were retired between 1856 and 1864.
