LX (rapper)

LX (born September 3, 1986 in Hamburg ; real name Alexander Hutzler ) is a German rapper from Hamburg. He belongs to the rap group 187 Strassenbande . His breakthrough came with the collaboration album Obststand together with crew member Maxwell .

Life

LX led a rather unsteady life in the greater Hamburg area until the start of his rap career. He grew up in the Osdorfer Born . He was later threatened with homelessness , dropped out of various training courses and sold drugs. In 2006 he started rapping and got to know the people around the 187 street gang. There he was recorded by Bonez MC . His pseudonym is an abbreviation for his real first name Alex. He made his debut on the group's third sampler and fell mainly through his collaboration Schnapp! with Gzuz . In 2013 he met Maxwell. The two recorded the album Obststand , which reached number 5 in the German album charts .

Less than a month after the release of the album was arrested LX and because of several violent crimes in custody taken. He was later sentenced to 22 months in prison but is released again. Beginning in 2016, he received clearance and used one of the dates for a feature on the track Optimal video for Gzuz 'Kollaboalbum High & hungry 2 with Bonez MC. Together with Maxwell, he was nominated for the “best newcomer” at the 2016 Echo Awards, but lost to Joris . He was unable to attend the celebrations as he was not given clearance for the event.

On June 28, 2019, he and Maxwell released their second collaboration album, Obststand 2 , with which they reached number 1 in the German charts.

Like the other members of the 187 street gang, he is open to drug use.
