from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The building church Heider Straße 59 is the number 226 in the list of monuments of the city Bad Salzuflen in North Rhine-Westphalia Lippe in Germany registered monument .

The entry was made on December 10, 1991; The basis for inclusion in the list of monuments is the Monument Protection Act of North Rhine-Westphalia (DSchG NRW).

location

The half-timbered house is in the Bad Salzufler district of Wüsten , about one and a half kilometers southeast of the desert town center.

With the merging of the upper and lower deserts and the incorporation of Wüstens into Bad Salzuflen and the allocation of (new) street names, the property was given the address "Kirchheider Strasse 59" after "Oberwüsten 12", "Wüsten 190" and "Lemgoer Strasse 59".

History and description

An earlier house built on this site was first mentioned in the state treasury register in 1590. The then resident Henrich Prussner had to pay offYour Grace ½  Gulden Treasure ” and “ 10  Taler Lease ”.
The men in this family were carpenters and farmers, and they built many of the half-timbered houses that still exist today.

The current building is a quarry stone building on a rectangular floor plan with a pitched roof. The original clay pan roofing no longer exists. Windows and door openings are partially set in brick walls. The oven, which is covered with clay mortar because of the great expansion of heat, is placed on the rear gable side; only remnants of it are left. The archway inscription reads:

"ANNO 1704 TÖNS PRÜSTNER AND HIS MARLED HOUSEWIFE ELISABET MEIERS HAVE THIS HOUSE BUILT BY OUR SON BERND PRÜSTNER,
LORD WOULD YOU LISTEN ME, I WILL SEND ME IN FRONT OF YOU"

monument

Only a few such buildings have survived in the Lippe region; This is why this technical cultural monument is important as a rare example of a genre and for this reason it is to be preserved.
