The building Bieber Street 1a is the number 188 in the list of monuments of the city Bad Salzuflen in North Rhine-Westphalia Lippe in Germany registered monument .

The half-timbered farmhouse, built in 1663, is located in the Bad Salzufler district of Wüsten , about one kilometer southeast of the center of the desert, slightly back from Bieberstrasse to the east.

With the amalgamation of the upper and lower deserts as well as the incorporation of Wüstens into Bad Salzuflen and the allocation of (new) street names, the property “Oberwüsten No. 42” was given the address “Bieberstrasse 1a”.

description

The monument is an H-frame house on natural stone base with more stand position and long emerging stand-struts and Tonhohlpfannen laid gable roof . The gable triangles protruding on profiled lugs are boarded up. The roof structure is a rafter roof with a collar beam position.

The archway inscription of the farmhouse reads:

"ANNO 1663 HANS KIKESMOLER AND CHATTRINA SCHUKMAN
HAVE THE LASEN BAWEN"

The former passage deele is provided with curved headbands to stiffen the post-ceiling beam construction. On both sides of the Deele, the spatial structures with storage rooms above the stables, so-called Hillen, have been preserved.

The western eaves side was later renewed with natural stone masonry.

The building erected in 1663 on the large Kickmöllersche Hofstelle is important cities and settlements, especially in the Bad Salzufler district of Wüsten, because it documents the development of agricultural work and production conditions.
There is therefore a public interest in the preservation and use according to § 2.1 DSchG NW for scientific, in particular local history and folklore-house studies reasons. Folklore reasons are given because the building gives an authentic idea of ​​life and work in a farmhouse since the Thirty Years' War , and because the building provides information about the custom of putting inscriptions above the gate frame. In addition, reasons for the public interest in preservation are asserted because this farmhouse provides information on the state of carpentry technology in the 17th century .
