LZ 12

The Zeppelin LZ 12 was Count Zeppelin's twelfth airship and the fourth airship of the German army .

history

LZ 12 made its first voyage on April 25, 1912. It was taken over by the army under the identification Z III. Although it was the fourth airship in the army, the loss of the airship LZ II , which was replaced by the airship replacement LZ II , gave LZ 12 the military ID Z III.

Its locations were Friedrichshafen , Hamburg , Frankfurt / Main-Rebstock , Baden-Oos , Metz and Gotha .

End of LZ 12 / Z III

The technically obsolete airship was scrapped in August 1914.
