The La Mauricie National Park ( French Parc national du Canada de la Mauricie ; English La Mauricie National Park of Canada ) is a Canadian national park in the Laurentine Mountains in the province of Québec (eastern Canada ).
The park, founded in 1970, has an area of 536 km² and belongs geologically to the southern Canadian shield . It borders the lowlands of the St. Lawrence River . There are around 150 lakes as well as other ponds. The fauna includes elk among others . The name is derived from the Saint-Maurice river that crosses the park to the east.
