The Terra Nova National Park ( English Terra Nova National Park of Canada , French Parc national du Canada Terra-Nova ) is a Canadian national park on the northeast coast of Newfoundland in eastern Canada along the coast of Bonavista Bay. It is one of the four national parks in Canada's Newfoundland and Labrador provinces .

It has an area of ​​400 km² and was opened in 1957. This made it the first national park in Newfoundland and Labrador Province . The nearest town is Port Blandford .

The park has wetlands , ponds and rain bogs . Here live among other snowshoe hare , elk and minks .
