La Romana International Airport ( Spanish Aeropuerto Internacional de La Romana ) ( IATA code : LRM , ICAO code : MDLR ) is the airport of the city ​​of La Romana in the east of the Dominican Republic . It is located about 8 km northeast of the city center.

The airport went into operation in 2000 after two years of construction. The operator is the Central Romana Corporation .

Airlines and Destinations

Air traffic from German-speaking countries is dominated by tourism, including numerous cruise passengers for embarkation and disembarkation in the port of La Romana, and is sometimes carried out seasonally.
