La Vacquerie is a village and a former French commune with 301 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Calvados department in the Normandy region . It belonged to the canton of Aunay-sur-Odon in the Bayeux arrondissement .

With effect from January 1, 2017, the former municipalities of Caumont-l'Éventé , Livry and La Vacquerie were merged into a Commune nouvelle called Caumont-sur-Aure and have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Caumont-l'Éventé.

It bordered Sallen in the north and northeast, Caumont-l'Éventé in the east, Sept-Vents in the southeast, La Lande-sur-Drôme in the south, Biéville in the southwest and Vidouville in the northwest.
