The Lada C-Cross is a concept vehicle on the platform of the Renault Megane that Lada presented at the Moscow Auto Show 2008. The SUV is a joint development by AwtoWAS and the Canadian automotive supplier Magna International . The design was determined by means of a competition, with the proposal by design student Vladimir Filatov emerging as the winner. The prototypes had gasoline engines from 1.6 liters to 2.0 liters. The 2.0-liter should reach a top speed of 190 km / h with an average consumption of 8.2 liters per 100 kilometers. The price for the compact SUV should be around 450,000 rubles, which would be the equivalent of around 12,500 euros. According to the latest information, the SUV will be built from 2012.
