Vesta Kombi SW and SW Cross
On June 27, 2017, the Vesta SW and Vesta SW Cross models were presented. The SW (for station wagon) is designed as a classic station wagon , the SW Cross also has a bad road appearance following the trend on the outside with protective applications made of plastic, as well as increased ground clearance. An underride guard and a chrome-plated double exhaust cover are also provided for the SW Cross. Further features of both variants are a roof rail and a modern roof antenna module. Both variants are optionally available with rear disc brakes instead of drum brakes. Also new are a loading floor concept and many other lashing and stowing options for luggage and cargo in the trunk.
Series production started on September 11, 2017. A few weeks later, on October 25, 2017, sales on the Russian market began. In the second quarter of 2018, the market launch took place in other European markets (including Germany and Austria). Both versions had their German premiere at the Auto Days in Hamburg in early February 2018.
Vesta Sport
At the Moscow Auto Show in August 2018, the Vesta Sport, a performance-enhanced variant of the vehicle, was presented. It was presented based on the sedan and developed 107 kW (145 hp). This should accelerate the Vesta Sport to 100 km / h in 9.6 seconds.
Registration numbers
In the first sales year 2017, 472 Vestas were newly registered in the Federal Republic of Germany. In 2018 there were 485 and in 2019 476 vehicles.
