Map with all coordinates: The national road 48 (L 48) is an approximately 25-kilometer national road in the south of Brandenburg .
It begins in Spremberg and ends at the A15 near Roggosen, where it changes to the B97 / B168 towards Guben / Beeskow / Cottbus .

The L 48 connects the towns of Spremberg , Weskow , Groß Luja , Bloischdorf-Kolonie , Wadelsdorf , Hornow , Hornow-Vorwerk , Bohsdorf-Vorwerk and Gablenz with the A 15 federal motorway near Roggosen, where it then turns into the B 97 / B 168 to Guben / Beeskow passes over. The B 97 and B 168 are on the same route for almost 2 km.
history
Until 2004 the L 48 was the connecting road between Spremberg and Forst . It was built back in 1885. Through several reclassifications of roads in Niederlausitz in 2004, the L 48 was also affected. The L 48 remained from Spremberg to Bohsdorf Vorwerk. The old L 48, which ran via Groß Kölzig to Forst , was upgraded to the B 115 . The B 115 from Bohsdorf Vorwerk to the A15 near Roggosen has been downgraded to the L 48.
In spring 2018, an avenue of fruit trees was planted on the L48 between Wadelsdorf and Bohsdorf Vorwerk.

In 2004/2005, the section of the old B 115 from Bohsdorf Vorwerk to the A 15 was largely expanded to three lanes.
