The municipality with the lowest voter turnout was Canal San Bovo with 52.46%, the one with the highest voter turnout Castel Condino with 78.61%. In the state capital Trento , the turnout was 64.78%.

Historical meaning

For the first time since the state election of 1998 in which, after the disintegration of the Christian Democrats as a result of Tangentopoli left coalition center-under one Civica Margherita , Democratici di Sinistra and Trentino Tyrolean Autonomist Party, the state government under the leadership of Lorenzo Dellai turned, managed the center-right parties prevail against the former center-left coalition, which has been split into two alliances (Alleanza per l'Autonomia and Partito Autonomista Trentino Tirolese).

The Union Autonomista Ladina (UAL), which previously dominated Val di Fassa , did not run for the first time since 2003, after defeats in the 2015 local elections, the 2016 constitutional referendum and the 2018 parliamentary elections.

It is also noticeable that, similar to the election in Molise and the election in Friuli-Venezia Giulia , the M5S lost around 15% compared to the parliamentary elections on March 4, 2018 . On March 4, it hit nearly 24%, but this time just over 7%. In contrast, as in the previous elections, the center-right alliance gained 10%.
