State election in Vorarlberg 1954
The state elections in Vorarlberg in 1954 took place on October 17, 1954. The Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) was able to stabilize after the big losses in the state elections in 1949 and increased its share of the vote by 1.6% to 58.0%, with which it was able to hold its 16 mandates. The Socialist Party of Austria (SPO) was this 1954 largely make up after their heavy losses in 1949 and achieved an increase of 6.9% a vote share of 26.0%, which won three seats and was as 1945.
