Laurence Tieleman (born November 14, 1972 in Brussels , Belgium ) is a former Italian tennis player .
Life
Tieleman is the son of a Dutchman and an Italian who worked for the European Community in Brussels . He is an Italian-Belgian citizen. He only reached one final on the ATP World Tour . In 1998 he lost to Scott Draper at the Queen's Club Championships played on grass . Together with Stefano Pescosolido he won the double title at the 1998 tournament in Tashkent . He reached his highest ranking in the tennis world rankings in 1999 with position 76.
Tieleman played a doubles game for the Italian Davis Cup team in 1999 . At the side of Stefano Pescosolido he was defeated by the Swiss doubles Lorenzo Manta and Marc Rosset .
