Lauro Tisi
Lauro Tisi (born November 1, 1962 in Giustino , Trentino , Italy ) is an Italian clergyman and Roman Catholic Archbishop of Trento .
Life
Lauro Tisi received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Trento on June 26, 1987 through Archbishop Alessandro Maria Gottardi . After a short chaplaincy, he was sub-rain of the diocesan seminary from 1988 to 1995 and then spiritual until 2007 and from 2001 also the archbishop's agent for the young priests. Since 2007 he has been vicar general and moderator of the diocesan curia.
On February 10, 2016, Pope Francis appointed him Archbishop of Trento. The episcopal ordination received his his predecessor Luigi Bressan on April 3 of that year. Co- consecrators were the Patriarch of Venice , Francesco Moraglia , and the Bishop of Bozen-Brixen , Ivo Muser .
