The Layza is a river in France that runs through the Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Occitania regions. It rises near the hamlet of Bellocq , in the western municipality of Montaner , generally drains in a northerly direction and after around 28 kilometers flows into the Louet as a right tributary in the municipality of Hères . On its way, the Layza crosses the Pyrénées-Atlantiques and Hautes-Pyrénées departments .
