Lee Joon-ho (also Lee Jun-ho ; kor. 이준호 ; born September 7, 1965 in Seoul ) is a former South Korean short tracker .

Career as a short tracker

Lee Joon-ho took part in the 1988 Winter Olympics in Seoul in part, when short track was a demonstration event. He won the unofficial gold medal over 3,000 m. Lee won four gold, two silver and one bronze medals at the Winter Asian Games and two silver medals at the 1991 Winter Universiade in Sapporo . In 1990 he was the first time world champion in the all-around competition at the World Cup in Amsterdam . At the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville , he was Olympic champion with the relay and won a bronze medal in the 1000 m. In 1994 he won the Team World Championships in Cambridge with the South Korean team .

Coaching career

In 1999, Lee was nominated to coach the French national team. In 2002 he moved to the South Korean women's national team as a coach.

commentator

At the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin , he worked as a commentator for the South Korean broadcaster KBS .
