Lee Keun-Ho (born April 11, 1985 in Incheon ) is a South Korean soccer player who has been under contract with the South Korean first division club Ulsan Hyundai FC since 2012 .
Career
society
Lee Keun-Ho played in his youth for Boo-Kyung High School and won three titles there with Kim Seung-Yong . After leaving high school, he played from 2004 for his hometown club Incheon United , where he only played for reserve team. In 2006 he was voted the best player in the South Korean reserve league "R-League".
At the beginning of the 2007 season he signed a contract with the South Korean first division club Daegu FC . In his first season he reached number 7 in the scorers list and in the season 2008 number 5. He quickly achieved the status of the crowd's favorite and was nicknamed "Silver Fox" because of his agility and speed on the ball.
In December 2008, Daegu FC was interested in a contract extension, but Lee preferred to move to Europe. Various European clubs showed interest in a commitment. He got an offer from the English first division club Blackburn Rovers , which he refused. In April 2009 he signed a nine-month contract with the Japanese first division club Júbilo Iwata . In his first eight league games, he scored six goals and prepared four.
When Lee left the club in June 2010, he was associated with the French first division side Paris Saint-Germain , but he moved to the AFC Champions League winner Gamba Osaka . There he played his best season in Japan in 2011 and scored 15 goals in 32 games.
On January 10, 2012, Lee returned to the K-League and signed a three-year contract with Ulsan Hyundai . In the first year he won the AFC Champions League with his club and was also voted Best Player of the Competition and Asia's Footballer of the Year .
National team
In 2005 Lee was appointed to the squad for the Junior World Cup , but where he was not used.
On June 29, 2007 he made his debut in the South Korean national soccer team in the friend game against Iraq and scored his first goal to the 3-0 final.
He scored his first "double" in the friendly against Uzbekistan on October 11, 2008, which was won 4-1. Lee also scored two goals in the qualifying game for the 2010 World Cup against the United Arab Emirates .
