Leitersdorf im Raabtal is a village in the town of Feldbach with 723 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020) in the south-east of Styria in the district of Southeast Styria .
geography
Leitersdorf im Raabtal is about 40 km east of Graz and about 4 km east of the district capital Feldbach in the eastern Styrian hill country .
history
On January 1, 2015, Leitersdorf in the Raab Valley was merged with the municipalities of Auersbach , Feldbach , Gniebing-Weißenbach , Gossendorf , Mühldorf bei Feldbach and Raabau as part of the municipal structural reform in Styria . The new municipality continues the name "Feldbach".

Culture and sights
- Hainfeld Castle , the largest moated castle in Styria. The current building dates from the Renaissance period. Four wings surround a huge courtyard with arcades . Joseph von Hammer-Purgstall , one of the pioneers of oriental studies, lived in Hainfeld Castle .

The municipal coat of arms was awarded with effect from June 1, 1997.

- "Divided diagonally to the right by gold and red, a mill wheel in each field mixed up in color and a field yellow star arching forward from the front corner and a dog tooth growing backwards from the base of the shield."
