Gossendorf is a former municipality with 884 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2014) in the district of Southeast Styria . Since 2015 it has been part of the municipality of Feldbach .
geography
Gossendorf is about 42 km southeast of Graz and about 5 km southeast of the district capital Feldbach in the eastern Styrian hill country .
The cadastral community of Gossendorf comprises the following three localities (population in brackets, as of January 1, 2020):

- Höflach (56)
Population development in the former community of Gossendorf
history
On January 1, 2015, Gossendorf was merged with the municipalities of Feldbach , Gniebing-Weißenbach , Auersbach , Leitersdorf im Raabtal , Mühldorf bei Feldbach and Raabau as part of the municipal structural reform in Styria . The new community bears the name "Feldbach".

The municipal coat of arms was awarded with effect from July 1, 1985.
