Lena Henke

Lena Henke (* 1982 in Warburg ) is a German sculptor , photographer and installation artist .

life and work

She studied at the Glasgow School of Art and the Frankfurt Städelschule , where she graduated in 2010 as a master class student with Michael Krebber . Today she lives in Frankfurt and New York City and has participated in several international exhibitions. Works by her are u. a. at the Whitney Museum of American Art .

Her sculptural works, often condensed into complex installations, focus on the subject area of architecture , urban and landscape planning , human relationships, sexuality and fetishism with references to aesthetic concepts from art history .
