Lena Hjelm-Wallén

Lena Birgitta Hjelm-Wallén (born January 14, 1943 in Sala , Västmanland County as Lena Birgitta Hjelm ) is a Swedish politician ( Socialdemokraterna ).

Hjelm-Wallén sat in the Riksdag , the Swedish parliament , from 1969 to 2002 . From 1974 to 1976 she was the Swedish Minister of Education, from 1982 to 1985 she was the successor of the Ministry of Education. She was Swedish Foreign Minister from 1994 to 1998 and Deputy Minister of State from 1995 to 2002.
