Lena Lazzarotto

Lena Lazzarotto (born February 4, 1957 in Rome ) is an Italian-German make- up artist who, in addition to her international work in Berlin, runs a mask workshop named after her.

Life

Lena Lazzarotto initially trained as a hairdresser and later became a master hairdresser. After training as a make-up artist with Jo Blasco in Los Angeles, she works in this profession. Since her training in Los Angeles, she has specialized in special effects in make-up images. With her workshop in Berlin she supports the next generation in the industry. Since the first films she has been responsible for the make-up in Wolfgang Becker's films. She is a member of the German Film Academy . In 2016 she was nominated for the best makeup image with the film Ich und Kaminski for the German Film Award.
