Lennard Adjetey Sowah (born August 23, 1992 in Hamburg ) is a German soccer player of Ghanaian descent. His preferred position is left wing defense .
Career
societies
Sowah began his career at SC Urania Hamburg and played for FC St. Pauli in the 2006/07 season . For the 2007/08 season he moved to Arsenal , but left the club after a year and moved to Portsmouth . He made his Premier League debut on April 3, 2010 when he was substituted on for the game against Blackburn Rovers . In July 2010 he moved to Hamburger SV, where he received a contract until 2013. There he played in the second team in the 2010/11 and 2011/12 seasons.
In the winter break of 2011/12 Sowah was awarded to Millwall FC until the end of the season, but where he was not used. After his contract expired, he left Hamburger SV after the 2012/13 season.
After being out of a club for a year, Sowah joined the Danish first division club FC Vestsjælland for the 2014/15 season . After only three appearances and the relegation of FC Vestsjælland, Sowah returned to Hamburger SV at the end of July 2015. He received a contract for the second team (U23) until the end of the Regionalliga season 2015/16 . For the second representation of HSV, however, he only came to four missions. After his contract ran out, Sowah left the club.
In October 2016, Sowah signed a contract with the Scottish first division club Hamilton Academical . At the beginning of January 2017, Sowah left the club after 7 league appearances (6 times from the start) with the end of his contract and switched to league competitor Heart of Midlothian . There he made 11 league appearances by the end of the season (all from the start).
For the 2017/18 season , Sowah joined the Polish first division club KS Cracovia . There he came to 7 missions (6 times from the start) in the Ekstraklasa before he left the club in March 2018. For the season 2018/19 returned Sowah back to Hamilton Academical. He played 18 times in the Scottish Premiership and left the club after a year.
After Sowah had been without a club in the 2019/20 season, he completed a trial training session at VfB Lübeck in July 2020 , but was not signed by the third division promoted team .
National team
In 2008, Sowah played two games for the German U-16 national team . On May 4, 2010 he made his debut in the German U-18 national team , on August 18, 2010 in the U-19 .
