Lez Bordes-sur-Lez is a village in the French Pyrenees . The formerly independent municipality is located in the area of Occitania , the Département Ariège , the Arrondissement Saint-Girons and the canton Couserans Ouest . was merged with Uchentein to form Commune nouvelle Bordes-Uchentein with effect from January 1, 2017 . Since then, it has been a commune déléguée and the main town (Chef-lieu). The village is right on the border with Spain in the south. The neighboring towns in France are
- Bonac-Irazein , Uchentein and Salsein in the west,
- Sor and Castillon-en-Couserans in the north,
- Arrien-en-Bethmale , Bethmale and Seix to the east.
