Letten is a part of the municipality of Bad Heilbrunn in the Upper Bavarian district of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen . The hamlet is located about one and a half kilometers north of Bad Heilbrunn and can be reached via federal highway 11 . On the north-western outskirts are the Kleine Karpfsee and the Große Karpfsee .

On May 1, 1978, the independent municipality of Schönrain was dissolved from the Bad Tölz district . Some districts were incorporated into Königsdorf , others such as Letten came to Bad Heilbrunn.
