Li Xueyao ( Chinese 李雪尧 , born April 11, 1995 ) is a Chinese ski jumper .

Career

Li made her international debut on January 8, 2011 at the Ladies Winter Tour 2011 in Schonach . At the end of the tour she finished 47th overall. She got her first Continental Cup points in Ljubno . At her first Junior World Championships in 2011 in Otepää , she finished 40th and at her first Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo in 2011 , she also reached 40th place. At the end of the ski jumping Continental Cup season, she reached 67th place in the 2010/11 overall ranking. At the 2012 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck , she jumped to 11th place in the individual. She made her World Cup debut in Ljubno on February 11, 2012. She finished 44th. At her second Junior World Championships in 2012 in Erzurum , she finished 37th in the individual and seventh in the team.

At the Winter Universiade 2015 in Štrbské Pleso , Li achieved fifth place in the individual, before she achieved good top 10 results with the team in both team competitions in fourth and seventh place. At the following World Championships in 2015 in Falun , she finished 37th in individual jumping.

In the 2018/19 World Cup season , Li Xueyao showed her best performance so far at this level and achieved her best result of the season with a 17th place in Râșnov, Romania . Nevertheless, like the other Chinese ski jumpers, she did not take part in the Nordic World Ski Championships 2019 for psychological and physical reasons .
