Liam James

Liam James (born August 7, 1996 in Vancouver , British Columbia ) is a Canadian actor .

life and career

Liam James was born in Vancouver and has an older brother. From 2006 to 2010 he starred in the series Psych on USA Network . He appeared at the start of most episodes and in regular flashbacks as the young version of the main character, Shawn Spencer, played by James Roday . In 2007 he starred in the comedy The Lucky Charm alongside Dane Cook and Jessica Alba . This was followed by the role of cousin Dave in A New Chance , in which Halle Berry , Benicio del Toro and David Duchovny can also be seen. He played 12-year-old Fred Claus ( Vince Vaughn ) in Santa Claus and Aliens vs. Predator 2 saw him as Sam. In an episode of the FBI's Fringe Borderline Cases , he appeared as Teddy Falls. In 2009, James represented the son of Dennis Quaid in horror - thriller Horsemen . In Roland Emmerich's disaster film 2012 , James was seen as Noah Curtis, the son of John Cusack and Amanda Peet . He has played the role of Jack Linden in the American television series The Killing since 2011.
