The Liersbach is a 14.5 km long left tributary of the Ahr in North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate ( Germany ).

The Liersbach rises as Rosensiefen about one kilometer north of the Michelsberg near the village of Mahlberg in the Effelsberg Forest at an altitude of about 529  m above sea level. NHN . From here the stream flows through the Liers- and Letherter Bach nature reserve to the southeast. It passes the villages of Lethert , Effelsberg , Obliers and flows into the Ahr in Liers .

The 28.9 km² catchment area drains via the Ahr and Rhine to the North Sea .
