Lindigshof is a homestead in the Lindenau district of the Rhön community of Dermbach in the Wartburg district in Thuringia .

location

About two kilometers (as the crow flies) southeast of Dermbach is the Lindigshof, built around 1884 in the corridor of Lindenau. The settlement area is on a slope of the Lindig mountain that slopes west towards the Feldatal. When choosing the location, the Lindenau stream , a tributary of the Felda, was of decisive importance; it rises at the edge of the farm. The farm has a connection to the provincial road 1026 , coming from Dermbach it leads to the eastern neighboring town of Wiesenthal, 1.5 kilometers away . Only a dirt road leads from the Lindigshof to the Dermbach district of Lindenau, just 500 m to the west. The geographic height of the place is 390  m above sea level. NN .

history

In 1884, construction of the Lindigshof began on a parcel of land called "Die Hut" near Lindenau. The year 1904 was determined to be the year of the first documentary mention.
