Lindsay Duncan
Lindsay Vere Duncan , CBE , (born November 7, 1950 in Edinburgh , Scotland ) is a British actress .
Life
Lindsay Duncan was born in Edinburgh on November 7, 1950 and attended King Edward VI High School for Girls in Birmingham . She later studied at the Central School of Speech and Drama . She began her career in the theater before appearing in television productions in the 1980s. Duncan is a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company and received the Tony Award for Best Actress in 2002 for her role in Private Lives .
Duncan is married to actor Hilton McRae , with whom she has a son.
