Lioba Happel

Lioba Happel (born February 7, 1957 in Aschaffenburg ) is a German writer .

Life

Lioba Happel grew up in Franconia . In 1978 she began in Bamberg , a study of the social . In 1981 she switched to German and Hispanic Studies ; She completed her studies in these two subjects at the Free University of Berlin in 1986 with a master's degree . Then she lived as a freelance writer in Berlin . She is the author of poems and prose texts .

After long stays in England , Ireland and Spain , she is now based in Lausanne / Switzerland .

1990: Sponsorship award for the Friedrich-Hölderlin-Prize of the city of Bad Homburg

1994: Scholarship from Villa Massimo in Rome

1996: Sponsorship award for the Hans Erich Nossack Prize .

2007: Pro Helvetia work grant for her volume of poetry land ohne land

2007: Prize of the Bonn book fair Migration for text from Lucy or Why are people so strange people

2012: Scholarship from the Berlin Senate
